Curtis Colbary, a candidate to the CPA profession is an Analyst with BDO Canada in the Mergers & Acquisitions service line at their Toronto Center office. Originally from Cobourg, Curtis completed his Undergraduate degree at StFX University and Graduate Diploma in Accounting at Queens University.  While attending StFX, Curtis conceptualized, operated, and sold his first business, Showtime Supplements, a brick and mortar retail storefront. His second business Lion Athletics, created custom sport nutrition supplements that were sold through various distribution channels. This resulted in receiving nominations for the “Atlantic Canada Student Entrepreneur of the Year” award for two consecutive years. Curtis is passionate about start-ups and currently consults with these companies independently and through incubators to assist founders in navigating through various start-up and growth phases.

Areas of focus: general accounting principles, business taxes, ideation, business development, internal operations and growth.

Three 45 minute virtual appointments are available Friday January 22nd at 1:00PM, 2:00PM, and 3:00PM.
